The “Platinum” status is issued to only 58 Course Directors worldwide, 25 of whom are based in the Asia Pacific region. Courses run every month on an 11 day schedule and include 4 days of IDC preparation before the course starts. The preparation program is intended to review the PADI Divemaster knowledge and skills in preparation for the Instructor course.
