A Platinum PADI Course Director is awarded the status based
on experience and the number of Instructor certifications issued by a Course
Director. The “Platinum” status is issued to only 58 Course Directors
worldwide, 25 of whom are based in the Asia Pacific region. The rating denotes
pure experience within the field of professional Instructor training. By

Courses run every month on an 11 day schedule and include 4
days of IDC preparation before the course starts. The preparation program is
intended to review the PADI Divemaster knowledge and skills in preparation for
the Instructor course.
During the course candidates will learn how to structure and
conduct knowledge development sessions, confined and open water training sessions
for all levels of PADI training, Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program, PADI
Specialty Courses, the Rescue Diver Course, the Divemaster Course, the
Adventures in Diving program and participate in CESA and Descent Workshops and
student control, again at all levels of training. Candidates will also learn
